How to make your own solid perfume base

Solid perfume base is very simple to make at home.

  1. Melt beeswax in saucepan or microwave.
  2. Add oil.
  3. Reheat  if necessary to re-liquefy.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Allow to cool before adding fragrance blend of your choice and pouring into lip balm containers.

    Hi Angela,
I would use 10-15% for a nice solid perfume, depending on the fragrance you are using

I would like to know how much fragrance or essential oil to use with this recipe. Thank you

Soy wax will make a very soft perfume. To make a vegan version I would try substituting 1/4-1/2 the amount of the beeswax with candelilla wax
