Lip balm is a stocked product by many dry lip sufferers. This recipe is perfect for such a need
Ingredients:
- 10g Beeswax
- 20g Coconut oil
- 10g Cocoa butter
- 7g Castor oil
- Mica colour as desired (opt)
- Flavour oil as desired (opt)
- Lip balm pots or tubes
Directions:
- Over low heat melt beeswax. Add cocoa butter, coconut oil and castor oil. remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- Mix in powder colour and flavour.
- Pour into pot or tube and allow to set.
Makes 47gm of product which will fill around 9 tubes 5gm pots or 4 x 10gm pots.

Refer to the flavour you are using and go with that recommended amount. The strength of flavours can vary and is best worked from the flavour not the base.
What % of flavor oil do you recommend using?

Allow them to cool a little more before pouring. The holes in the top are caused by shrinkage
How do you get the flat tops ? Mine seem to have little holes on the top, and when I top them op, there’s a dome?
