Jenny Radcliffe – If the qualities of rhassoul meet your needs it will be a good option

Hi,

I’m thinking of replacing the pink clay with Rhassoul Clay. Would this be a good swap? TIA

Hi Glenna,
This is a little bit of uncharted territory. I am not sure what the outcome would be with this scenario but it is worth trying just once to find out I think.

Hi. Can I add BTMS if I want to make this conditioning? If yes, how much and which part of the process do I add it in? Thank you.

Hi Greg,
You could take out the palm oil and run it through a lye calculator to make the necessary adjustments. Plan B would be to up the olive oil to compensate for the volume loss and put that through the calculator for the new lye and water amounts.
