Hi Team
Do you have a Palm oil free version? What’s your thoughts on simply dropping the PO component? What would you replace it with? TIA
Hi Tracey,
Sodium lactate will not change the pH of the product enough to make a difference
Hi Kerry ,
I’m just about to make shampoo bars and have found one site that suggests the PH of Shampoo bars using saponification is too high and over time will actually damage hair ?
They say most blogs on Shampoo bar making are essentially soap ?
So , I’m now wondering does adding sodium lactate improve this problem as in your above recipe ?
I’d appreciate your advice before I delve into another DIY project !!!!.
Hi Ros,
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have amended it with 10gm input.
Hi Kerry,
I’d like to make this shampoo bar. Your instructions say to add sodium lactate to lye solution but no mention of what quantity ?
Thanks, Ros
