This simple and customizable recipe for a DIY body cream uses Olivem 1000, shea butter, and natural oils to deliver hydration and nourishment for all skin types!

Instructions
- Prepare Phase A:
- Combine xanthan gum and glycerin in a heat-safe container. Add to distilled water while mixing well. Let it hydrate for a few minutes.
- Prepare Phase B:
- In a separate heat-safe container, combine Olivem 1000, babassu oil, shea butter, and sweet almond oil.
- Heat Both Phases:
- Heat Phase A and Phase B to approximately 70–75°C using a double boiler.
- Combine Phases:
- Slowly pour Phase B into Phase A while mixing with an immersion blender or high-shear mixer. Blend thoroughly for 2–3 minutes to form an emulsion.
- Cool Down and Add Phase C:
- Once the mixture has cooled to around 40°C, add the preservative, vitamin E, and essential oil (if using). Stir well to combine.
- Package:
- Pour the cream into a clean, sterilized container and allow it to cool completely before sealing.
