Black Pepper Essential Oil is steam distilled from the dried berries (peppercorns) of the Piper nigrum plant. Warm, spicy and slightly sharp, this oil carries a dry, musky depth that adds character and strength to blends.

Traditionally used in massage formulations and warming blends, black pepper oil pairs beautifully with peppermint, clove, rosemary and wintergreen. When diluted in a suitable carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil, it can be incorporated into muscle balms, salves and massage oils.

Due to its potency, black pepper essential oil should always be used sparingly and properly diluted before topical application, particularly for sensitive skin types.
