Heirloom's Shrink Wrap is a softer, malleable product that has low shrink tension that will shrink beautifully to the contours of your product. It is used to make your products airtight while enhancing the appeal of the product to your clients.

This shrink film is pre-folded with a 30cm width, allowing you to slide your product in between the layers, seal, and then shrink with heat gun or hair dryer to fit snugly around your product. Purchase the amount you would like by the metre and we will custom roll this off for you, or buy a roll and have it at your fingertips ready to go.

This product is known for being softer than others which allow for more intricate mouldings to bath bombs, single mould soaps etc.  Just what you need when you want those details to show but need to ensure it is safely wrapped.

How To:

Ideally you have an impulse sealer and a heat gun, but it can be done without these items for a slightly messier and more time consuming process.

The plastic wrap comes to you doubled over.  Separate the film along the open edge. This can be a little tricky initially, but once you have some separated run your finger down the side to make it easier next time.
Place the item to be wrapped on the lower sheet and place the top sheet over it.  Heat seal with around a 1cm margin around the product to allow for shrinkage.  If you don’t have a heat sealer cut to size and tape folding to the underside where your label can be located to cover the join.

Using a heat gun, start on the back of the piece making sweeping passes to allow the wrap to shrink to a reasonable fit.  Turn over and give the front just a little air to a gentle fit.  Do not over heat or you will split the film.

If you do not have a heat gun some hair dryers can successfully shrink the film.
