Occasionally a batch may have a stronger natural aroma than previous supplies. This is a normal characteristic of natural animal-derived products and is outside of our control.

Been using the tallow for CP soap making without an issue, but decided to use it for whipped tallow balm and i cannot get rid of the smell even with essential oils. My daughter couldn’t get past the smell and said it got stronger over a few days even with lavender in it. I have water rendered a portion of it 3 times and still smells beefy. Good for soap not for skincare in my opinion.

Very impressed!! Slight beefy smell, but I used Rose essential oil and it wasn't as bad.

I usually render my own tallow but it is a time consuming process. This tallow is perfect for skincare use. Very little odour and if it does annoy you a very small amount of essential oil or infusing the tallow with herbs eliminates this. Highly recommend.
